after meeting Katsu

"Dad!!"  Minami yelled as soon as she got in her house when she came back right after meeting Katsu.
"Dad's not here."  One of her sisters yelled from her room upstairs.
"What about mom?"  She called back.
"Work."
"Where is dad?"
"I don't know."  She put her hands on her hips and sighed sharply.
"/Well/ then."  She whispered.  She heard someone come down the stairs and recognized the long green hair.  "Marishka~!"  Minami laughed.  She walked up to her sister and met her at the bottom of the stairs.
"What?"  Marishka asked, a bit cautiously.
"I met another cousin today."
"Oh gosh.  Another one?"
"I know!  That is what I said.  But get this, he is an only child.  He is uncle Makito's son."  
Marishka's eyes widened a bit, "He had a son?!"
"Remember?  Dad told us about him."
"For, like, three seconds.  I did not really remember."
"Oh my gosh, you should see him, he is so tiny."
"Aw really?"  Marishka said adoringly.
"/Yeah/."  She laughed.  "But it is so horrible…"  Her smiled went away.  "His is really bullied.  People don't like his hair in his school."
"He has green hair?"
"Yeah…"
"People /love/ our hair."  She placed her hand on her hair near her shoulder.
"I don't understand it… but when you look at him, you just want to cry.  But he seems so happy…  It is hard."
"How old is he?"  She asked leaning on the stair rail.
She laughed, "He seems like a tall 13 year old but he is 16."
Marishka laughed too, "How tall is he?"
"Like, 4' 10" or something.  But he has a girlfriend that is like a foot taller than him.  They seem really happy together.  They are having a baby."
"Aw~.  I want to meet him."
"I gave him my e-mail so we can talk there.  Get this, he does not have a cell phone."
Marishka's jaw dropped, "How does he /live/?!"
"I don't know!  And guess what else!"
"What?!"
"He is the creator of Shou."
"Shut up, you're lying."
"I'm not.  We are related to the person who writes Shou!"
"That's so cool!"
"/Shut up/."  One of their brothers stood at the top of the stair well.  "You two are /so loud/."  
The twins looked up at their brother, "What was that?"  They both said smiling.  "We can't hear you over her loud talking."
"You two are such freaks!"
"Now who is being loud?"  He sighed sharply and went back to his room, slamming the door.
"He is too girly and over dramatic for his own good."  Marishka said.
"Maybe it is all that hair dye getting to his head."  Marishka said.  They both laughed.  Marishka, Minami, and that brother were the only ones out of their nine siblings that had green hair.  He was the only one that dyed it brown.  Minami grabbed Marishka's hand and brought her upstairs again.  They went to their shared computer and checked her e-mail.  No messages yet.  "What's taking him so long?!"  She asked, irritated.
"I'm sure he has a life.  You just said that he has a girlfriend and child."
"He does not have a child /yet/."
"Still…  He-"  The computer chimed.
"Yeah.  He seems real busy."  Minami chuckled and clicked the e-mail.  
Just a simple 'Hey' was in the message.
'My twin does not believe that you are the writer of Shou.'  Minami typed and sent.  
Marishka slapped the back of her twin's head, "You are making me sound bad."
"He does not know you."  She chuckled.
"/Still/…"  They talked for a while then their heard their father come home.  Minami jumped out of her chair and ran downstairs.
She ran straight up to her dad, "How come you never told me about Katsu?"
Itsuki's face fell, "How do you know about him?"
"He lives in the next town and I never knew him.  That is not right."
"Did you tell him were we live?"
"…No."
"Don't."
"Why?  You are making it sound like he wants to kill us all.  He is really nice."
"I don't want his mother showing up.  Don't talk to him."
"She is your sister in law and you do not even care?!  They are all by themselves…"
"That was their fault."  He started to walk away.
"Uncle Makito did not /chose/ to /die/.  /You/ chose to ignore them!"
He stopped and turned back to her, "Don't you think I understand that?!  Don't ever think I don't regret that every day.  But I can't change it now… it's too late, it won't matter."  He turned back and went upstairs to his and his wife's room.
"That is /so/ shitty."  She whispered harshly.  She walked back upstairs slowly and went back to her room.  She saw Marishka typing and read over her shoulder.
"What did he say?"  She asked as she continued to type to their long lost cousin.
Minami scoffed, "He chose to ignore them and told me not to talk to him anymore."
"So stupid."  She sent the e-mail and turned the spinning chair around to face her sister.  "You are not going to listen to him are you?"
She sat on her sister's lap sideways, "Of course not.  Why start listening to him now?"  They both chuckled.  Minami started surfing the web while they waited for another reply.
